Mrs. Amanda Kemp

My name is Amanda Kemp! This year will be my 21st year in education, but my fourth year at Cartersville Elementary. My career path began with an undergraduate degree from Kennesaw State University in Early Childhood Education. Then, I completed a Masters' and Educational Specialist Degree at Jacksonville State University. In addition to my graduate degrees, I have added Reading, ESOL and Special Education Endorsements to my certificate. 

As a lifelong resident of Cartersville, I am very excited to be part of the Canes Family! My husband, Shane and I have a daughter, Kaylee. She is a senior at Cartersville High School, and keeps us very busy with her afterschool activities. When at home, our house is shared with our pet dogs, Jack and Mocha. My hobbies include traveling, volunteering and spending time with family and friends.

I am looking forward to an exceptional year working with fourth graders as an inclusion teacher!
