Mrs. Julie Merwanji

Welcome to Mrs. Merwanji's 4th grade ELA and social studies class at Cartersville Elementary School. This is my 10th year at CES and my 19th year in education. I am originally from Buffalo, New York, where I graduated from Buffalo State College with a degree in Business Studies. Knowing my true passion was to teach children, I attended Berry College where I received my teaching certification and a master's degree in Early Childhood Education. I have taught kindergarten, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade. My wonderful husband and I will celebrate our 30th anniversary in October. We have three amazing sons; Gabriel, Noah, and Solomon. 

Instructional Content can be assessed via Schoology or by contacting me personally.  We communicate with both students and parents (text messages, emails, and phone calls) through Teacher Messaging.  Your contact information in Infinite Campus MUST be accurate for you to receive messages.  Please contact the front office if you need to update any information. 

I am honored to be your child's teacher this year. It is going to be the best year yet!
