Mrs. Lowry

Hello, my name is Jeanne Lowry, and I am so excited about this school year! This is my 25th year as an educator. I have always had a strong passion for teaching and working with children. I strive to make learning as fun as possible for my students because I want their school experiences to be positive ones, and I want them to LOVE school!

I graduated with a Masters Degree from Valdosta State University. I started my teaching career in first grade in a south Georgia school. Then, I taught fifth grade for seven years and fourth for two years. My family and I moved to Cartersville from Valdosta in 2012, and we LOVE it here!  I taught second grade for nine years at Cartersville Primary School. This is my fourth year at CES, and I love teaching fifth grade math and science! 

My husband Ben and I have three children: Cameron (an alumni from the University of Tennessee), Reid (a senior at CHS), and Charleigh (an 8th grader at CMS). When I'm not at school, I love spending time with my family. Some of our favorite places are Truist Park (Go Braves!) and the beach. We also enjoy watching our kids' golf tournaments and cheer competitions.
