Mrs. Nan Adsit

I began my teaching career in 1990 and taught 6th grade at South Central Middle School in Bartow County.  After six years,  I left teaching to start a family.  In 2003,  I returned to work at Cartersville Elementary School  teaching 4th grade.  I taught 4th grade for many years and then 5th grade for over a decade.  I joined the  Special Education team in 2016 as a 5th grade inclusion teacher.  I absolutely love my role co-teaching reading and math within the regular classrooms.  After five years co-teaching, I have rejoined the 4th grade team. I am so excited to be back as a homeroom teacher.

Both our children came through Cartersville School System and are now out of college and enjoying their careers.  They both live in Marietta, so we get to see them often.  My husband and I enjoy being outdoors playing tennis and riding bikes.  During the pandemic,  we had a pool and pavilion added to our backyard.  We LOVE having our friends and family over for cookouts, to swim, or just hang out!
