Mrs. Julie Merwanji

Welcome to Mrs. Merwanji's 4th Grade Class at Cartersville Elementary School!

I am so excited to begin another school year with you. This is my 11th year at CES and my 20th year in education. I am originally from Buffalo, New York, and earned my degree in Business Studies from Buffalo State College. However, I soon discovered my true passion - teaching children. That journey led me to Berry College, where I earned my teaching certification and Master's degree in Early Childhood Education.

Throughout my career, I have had the joy of teaching kindergarten, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade. Each year has brought new adventures, new memories, and new friends. 

Outside of school, I have been married to my wonderful husband for almost 31 years. We're the proud parents of three amazing sons: Gabriel, Noah, and Solomon.

I am looking forward to an incredible year of learning, laughter, and growth in our class!
