Online Registration for 2024-25:

Cartersville City Schools utilizes an online system for parents and guardians to register their students. Whether your child is new or has previously attended and is returning to Cartersville City Schools, all enrollments are processed via our online system and can be completed using a desktop computer, laptop computer, tablet, or cell phone.

Directions for Online Registration

*Please read and follow each step.  Incomplete applications cannot be processed.

First step - verify that your address is within the Cartersville City Schools boundaries

Go to qPublic.net - Bartow County, GA and enter your address in the Search by Location Address field.

Tax district: Cartersville (District 01) = in district

Next step - gather the required documents

• Proof of residency #1 -
  • Examples - mortgage statement, deed, lease, rental agreement, property tax statement
• Proof of residency #2 -
  • Examples - Cartersville City utility bill, power bill, water bill, gas bill

*Note: One or both parents/guardians need to be listed on proof #1 and proof #2.
*Note: If you are living with someone else, you must submit an affidavit of residency, plus two (2) printed forms of proof of residency in that person’s name.

• • Birth certificate or passport for each child
  • Social Security Card for each child or signed waiver
  • State issued ID, driver's license or passport for enrolling parents/guardians
  • Guardianship paperwork, if applicable

Final step - Additional documents that maybe necessary to process your application

*Students coming from outside Georgia or from another country must complete additional Georgia Department of Health forms.

• • Georgia Department of Health Form 3231 Certificate of Immunization or Notarized Georgia Department of Health Form 2208 - Affidavit of Religious Objection to Immunization 
  • Georgia Department of Health Form 3300 Certificate of Vision, Hearing, Dental, and Nutrition Screening 
  • IEP and/or 504 paperwork
  • For high school students - Current transcript or most recent report card

IDEA Private School Request for Services
For students attending a non-profit, private school within our geographic boundary, please follow the registration process listed.  You will need to provide the student’s birth certificate, student’s social security number and parent ID.  You will not be required to show proof of residency as the private school is located within our geographic boundary.  You will not need to show immunization.  Any outside medical or psychological information, most recent eligibility or IEP is helpful. We can obtain this information once your student has been enrolled with Cartersville City Schools if you do not have a copy.
