Pre-K

Each Spring, CCS utilizes a lottery system to determine admission into the Cartersville Primary School Pre-K program. Applications are accepted beginning in January via the CCS online registration system. Necessary documents are collected at the in-person event held in early March. The names of all applicants who submitted an online application and turned in documents at the in-person event will be entered into lottery, which is conducted in early April each year. Applicants who receive a spot will be notified by the mid-month of April. 

Cartersville Primary School offers a Bright from the Start Pre-K program, which is responsible for meeting the child care and early education needs of Georgia’s children and their families. It administers the nationally recognized Georgia’s Pre-K Program, licenses child care centers and home-based child care, administers Georgia's Childcare and Parent Services (CAPS) program, federal nutrition programs, and manages Quality Rated, Georgia’s community powered child care rating system.
