The CES Orffestra is an auditioned group of musically talented 4th and 5th grade students.  

The Orffestra was founded in 1986 by the music specialist at Cartersville Elementary School. The name ORFFestra, was chosen because this choral group accompanies their singing with instruments designed by the German musician, Carl Orff. Originating as a public relations tool for promoting the music program in the community, the group has shared an outstanding tradition of excellence in music-making with the community.
