Mrs. Rita Porter

This is my 27^th year of teaching and my 11^th year at Cartersville High School. I love living in and working in Cartersville and have always considered teaching a calling, not just a job. I am very excited about teaching Forensic Science and Environmental Science this year. 

We will soon celebrate our 41st wedding anniversary. We have a daughter and had a son, as well as four grandchildren and 2 stepgrandchildren.  My husband and I enjoy ballroom dancing, swimming, fishing, boating, and kayaking. We enjoy spending time with our family the most!
