I am the Teacher of the Visually Impaired for Cartersville City Schools. I have been working for Cartersville City Schools for 19 years. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Religious Education from Grace University in Omaha, NE, a Masters Degree in Guidance and School Counseling from the University of Nebraska at Kearney, and a Masters Degree in Visual Impairment from Florida State University. My husband and I moved from Nebraska to Cartersville in 1989 to start our own business. After selling the business in 1999, I went back to school to complete my Georgia certification and to complete a Masters in Visual Impairment.  I love my position and I love working with my amazing students. My caseload consists of students from the age of 3 to the age of 22. It is a challenging and very rewarding career.
