Mrs. Kim Norwood

I am a native of Cartersville, Georgia.  I attended school in the Cartersville City School system.  Upon graduating from Cartersville High School I attended Kennesaw State University.  I received my teaching degree from the University of Georgia in 1990. Go Dawgs!! This is my 29th year teaching at Cartersville Elementary School!  I began my teaching career in 1990 at Cartersville Elementary School as a Chapter 1 Teacher.  Later, the Chapter 1 program became the  Title 1 program.  My current position is in the EIP program.   As an EIP teacher I have worked with other teachers in their classrooms to assist struggling students in math and reading.  Currently, I am teaching math to EIP students in 3rd and 4th grade in a small group setting.
