Mrs. Beth Bolen

I am excited for another amazing year teaching Health Education at Cartersville Middle School. I love working here Cartersville school system because we have the best students and they enjoy learning new ideas and topics in Health class.

I have taught over 20 years in this school system, with 10 years at Primary School and 10+ at middle school with teaching Physical Education and Health. I also coached basketball, volleyball and track and field at Cartersville High School. I am coaching Volleyball now at the middle school.

Prior to Cartersville I was a health and physical education teacher at a high school in Mississippi, Oklahoma for grades K-8 and US Army for 5 years active and 4 years Army reserves.

I attended Blue Mountain College and Graduated with a BS in Physical Education/ Health and a Minor in Science.

I continued my education with a Master’s of Science in Education and Specialist Degree in Education Leadership at Jacksonville State.

I feel that as educators we must continue to learn and become well versed with teaching. I enjoy working with students to help set health and fitness-related goals and to promote overall wellness.
