My name is Wendy Ross and I am excited to be your child's 2nd grade teacher!  I have been teaching for 29 years.  I've taught Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade and K/1st grade looping.  I have been teaching in the Cartersville City School System since 2000 and love teaching in the community I grew up in.  I was honored to be selected as the Teacher of the Year by my CPS family in 2008.  

My husband and I have been married for 26 years and we have two kids.  Jordan graduated last year from Jacksonville State University and started a new job with Innovien Solutions in Atlanta.  My son Clay is a junior at the University of Georgia.  I also have a dog named Daisy.  In my free time, I enjoy working out at the gym, taking long walks, reading, playing tennis and hanging out with friends and family.
