Here is a little bit about me...

This is my 33rd year teaching @ CPS!  Yes, all of my years have been at CPS. I was honored to be selected as Cartersville City Schools' System Teacher of the Year in 2011. I love teaching reading to my second grade students! 

I am originally from Minnesota, love Cartersville and have lived here for many years.  I'm married to Scott, a Cartersville native - we have 2 boys, Riley & Jake !  Riley is a UGA graduate & Jake is a UWG graduate.  

I love to laugh, read, make games, and listen to music !
