Traci Harris

Hi! My name is Traci Harris.  I have been teaching 30 years. 23 of them at Cartersville Primary School. I taught 1st and 2nd grades for 14 years, Kindergarten for 2 years, and 14 years of gifted. I love watching kids learn and grow! I am always looking forward to a great year! 

I attended the University of West Georgia for a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Early Childhood Education. I am Gifted Endorsed and earned an Educational Leadership Specialist degree from Lincoln Memorial. 

My personal children are Lukas (27), Clare (24), & Maddy (20). I also have 2 step-children, Dayln (19) & Darien (15). I have been married to Jeffrey Harris for 8 happy years. I enjoy concerts, hiking, reading, playing games, traveling, & learning about plants and animals (we have 2 cats & 3 dogs).  I love sunflowers, waterfalls, listening to all kinds of music, and relaxing at the beach.

I am very excited to work with you and your child to make this a wonderful year!
