Kids and Company Pre-K is a Bright from the Start GA lottery funded program that is also part of the Cartersville City School System. In accordance with the Bright from the Start guidelines, we have a finite number of student allotments. Typically, we have many more students that wish to attend our school than we can accommodate. Therefore, we hold an enrollment lottery to determine our enrollment roster and the order of our wait list. This is typically held on the Thursday before Spring Break.

To obtain a registration packet, please come by the school. Registration packets are not available for the next school year until mid-February. Students must be 4 years old on or before September 1st of the school year for which they wish to register. Students who are registered on the system’s official Pre-K registration day (typically the 1st or 2nd Tuesday in March), live within the Cartersville City School’s attendance zone, and turn in all requested documentation are given priority consideration. Required documentation includes:

Birth Certificate (El acta de nacimiento de su niño/a)

Social Security Card (La tarjeta del Seguro Social de su niño/a)

Proof of Residence (2 are required): Pruebas de Domicilio (2 de estos 4 son necesarios):

· Mortgage statement / Deed (Título de propiedad or cuenta hipotecario)
· Lease or rental agreement (Contrato de la renta con los nombres de todos que viven el la residencia)
· City of Cartersville or Georgia Power utility statement (Must be current – within 30 days) Cuenta de servicios públicos- (City of Cartersville o Georgia Power)- corriente entre 30 días con su nombre y la dirección de su residencia
· Affidavit of residency (signed at the school by you and the owner of the property, with photo IDs, and notarized) Declaración jurada de residencia (firmado en la escuela por usted y el propietario, con identificaciones fotográficas ,y certificado por un notario)

 Copies of Photo Identifications of Parents. One of the following will be accepted: Copias de identificaciones fotográficas corrientes de los padres. Las identificaciones pueden ser:

· Valid driver license (Licencia de conducir válida)
· Valid DMV ID Card (Tarjeta de identificación expedida por el departamento de vehículos de motor)
· Passport (Pasaporte)

Form #3231 – Georgia Certificate of Immunization or appointment card from Pediatrician or Bartow County Health Department (El formulario #3231 - El certificado de las vacunas del estado de Georgia o tarjeta de cita con su pediatra o el Departamento de Salud Pública)

Form #3300 – Certificate of Ear, Eye, Dental & Nutrition Examinations or appointment card from Pediatrician or the Bartow County Health Department (Formulario # 3300 - Certificado del Examen de los Oídos, Ojos, Dientes y Nutrición o tarjeta de cita con su pediatra o el Departamento de Salud Pública)
