Mrs. Tara Peters

I am proud to serve as Director of Cartersville City Schools' Kids and Company Pre-K. This will be my 12th year in education. I started my teaching career here at Kids and Company and taught for three years. I taught Kindergarten at Cartersville Primary for seven years and this will be my second year serving as Director for Kids and Company Pre-K. I have a deep passion for children and education and look forward to being a part of your child's Pre-K experience at Kids and Company Pre-K where CANES are born and LEGACIES begin. I am honored to have the opportunity to serve and support a group of teachers that are dedicated to building relationships with students and inspiring them to build the skills and confidence they need to one day find their passions and achieve their goals.

I have been married to my husband, Jeff Peters, for 21 years. We have three children. Our son Thomas is a junior at KSU (Go OWLS!), our daughter Charlie is a freshman at UGA (Go Dawgs!), and our son Jack is a seventh-grader at Cartersville Middle School (Go Canes!).

My favorite things to do when I'm not working are spend time with my family, read, and travel.
