Mrs. Holly Carlile

I am so excited to join the Canes family this year! I have lived in Bartow County my whole life and went to school locally. I live in Cartersville with my husband, Caleb, and two kids, Amelia and Lincoln. 

I taught piano lessons for 8 years before going back to school for teaching; I have three years of experience teaching 9th Grade Literature and Composition. I will be entering my fourth year of teaching this year. I have always wanted to teach middle grades; it is such an important time for learning in a child's life. I am thrilled at the opportunity to teach 8th Grade English Language Arts - I cannot wait to work with all the amazing teachers, students, and families in our community.

When I'm not teaching, I love reading and attending book conventions to meet authors and readers. I also enjoy collecting musical instruments and playing music - especially the piano and harp.

It's going to be a great year - Go Canes!
