Miss Courtney Urquhart

Hello all!

My name is Courtney Urquhart and I am so excited to be your child's 3rd grade teacher! I am also thrilled to be joining the Hurricane family this year. I graduated from Kennesaw State with my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education along with endorsements in reading and ESOL. Prior to beginning my teaching career, I was lucky enough to be employed with the Cartersville Boys & Girls Club where I had the opprotunity to discover my passion for working with children. In addition to teaching, I also have a passion for coaching. I will be coaching the middle school's basketball cheerleading team this year. GO CANES!!! When I am not teaching, my favorite thing to do is play with my dachshund, Taz. I am looking forward to an amazing year! Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
