Mrs. Alicen Pearson

Hi! My name is Alicen Pearson. I grew up just south of Atlanta in Tyrone, Georgia. I attended Fayette County Public Schools and graduated in 2005 from Sandy Creek High. I went on to further my education and athletic career, with volleyball, at Berry College before graduating in 2009.

I began teaching in Bartow County, where I stayed for six years before moving back home to Fayette County to teach for two years. I married my wonderful husband, Brian Pearson of Adairsville, in July 2017 and I moved back to Bartow County. I taught in Gordon County for three years before accepting a position at Cartersville Middle School. I am very excited to be in such an established and community-driven school district! GOOO CANES!

I am also the Head Volleyball Coach at Cartersville High. From the start of my academic career, I have served as a volleyball coach, and I look forward to sharing my athletic abilities and knowledge with the athletes here.

My husband and I have 4 children; Addie (15), Eli (14), Bricen (3), and Casen (1). Outside of school, my family enjoys sports and music.
