Hello and welcome to my 'About the Teacher' page!  My name is Nicole Smith and I am so excited to be a teacher in the Cartersville City School System.  I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and moved to Georgia in 2017.  I have a passion for teaching and specifically giving kids the tools to become readers.  I pride myself on having patience, giving grace, and making sure we have fun along the way.  Relationships are very important to me and I am a natural extrovert! 

I live on a small farm with my husband where we own three horses, three dogs, and two goats.  I enjoy playing soccer, riding horses, hiking with my dogs, road trips, and reading.  I am also a foster parent to my foster son.
