2021-22 School Year Weekly Updates
Cartersville City Schools will provide a weekly update of new positive cases of COVID-19 experienced by our students, staff, and contract employees. The updates are based on confirmed cases of students and staff who have attended in-person school since Wednesday, August 11, which was the first day of the 2021-22 school year. The weekly report will be updated by 4:30 p.m. each Friday.

CCS was notified this week that two Kids & Co PRE-K students, three CPS students, 26 CES students, 12 CMS students and 23 CHS students tested positive for COVID-19. Eight CES staff members also tested positive for COVID-19.
EDITED ON 8.27: Seven students were reported the week of Aug. 23; however, their symptoms and diagnosis occurred during the week of Aug. 16. Three CES students, three CHS students and one PRE-K student were added to the total numbers for the week of Aug. 16.
