Measurements

The minimum distance for the primary and elementary school was measured at the discretion of the Cartersville School System, based on an aerial circular radius from the primary / elementary school campus that extends to the distance of one-half mile from the center of the campus. The distance for the middle and high school was measured from each respective campus that extends to the distance of one-half mile from the center of the campus. The measurements were determined by using the Bartow County Board of Assessors website. The distances are well within the one and one-half mile guideline set forth by the Georgia Department of Education as it relates to student transportation funding for local school systems.
