Mrs. Carina Peters

My name is Carina Peters and I am excited for the 2022-2023 school year! This will be my eleventh year teaching and I have worked for Cartersville City Schools for the the last seven years between Pre-k and 2nd Grade. This will be my second year teaching Kindergarten at CPS.  I previously taught Kindergarten at Dalton Public Schools.

I am married to my wonderful husband, Jeffrey, and have two sweet children who attend Cartersville City Schools. Colin is 12 years old (7th Grade) and Alaina is 11 years old (6th Grade). I am originally from Rome, Georgia but my family has been blessed to be part of the Cartersville Community for the past 14 years and we love this town dearly! When I am not teaching, I enjoy football (GO DAWGS!), cooking, reading, traveling, and being with my family and friends.
