You may have noticed an issue with the Cartersville Schools app. Over the summer, we transitioned to a new student information system. We have been working to align all our technology with the new provider. However, currently, we are experiencing a disconnect in the flow of information to our app, disrupting your child’s information from displaying correctly. You will receive an email when the connection has been re-established. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate this transition.

Records Elimination

In accordance with 34 CFR 300.573, the Cartersville City School Board of Education will be destroying the Special Education Records of students born in/or before 2001. All records prior to this year have already been destroyed by Federal guidelines. Anyone interested in obtaining his or her records should notify the Special Education Department in writing by July 30, 2023. These records will be destroyed on January 31, 2024.
